Filming Documentaries

Updated: Jan 17, 2022

I've been working on a documentary film for the Pinnacle Club to celebrate their 100th birthday this year.

Lockdown got in the way some, but I finally managed to capture the 2nd interview from the surviving members of the Jagdula expedition.

They were a part of a team of women who were the first ever people to ascend several peaks in western Nepal back in the 60s. Not only that but they drove there by car.

When making these types of films I operate as both the director and the videographer and edit all of the content.

I really like the personal connection you have with these films from start to finish, and I can't complain about the shooting environments either.
